The generator can be installed in the table or can be separately mounted on the wall. The exposures can be released by a two-step foot or handswitch. This allows for very easy and effortless patient positioning. Even large animals can be conveniently positioned for optimal exposures. The tabletop release switch controlled by a convenient foot pedal guarantees "hands free" operation and placement of patient before and during the examination. Tabletop side rails provide durable anchors for restraining, which ensure the proper positioning and subduing of the patient during the procedure. Optional table extension offers an additional 30 cm working area when larger animals are examined. The x-ray tube freely rotates ±90° around the horizontal axis, allowing exposures from various angles. Radiographic Systems Automatic coupling device ensures centralized and synchronized movement between x-ray tube and the film cassette along the track of the grid cabinet. Easy disengaging system permits independent movement for both x-ray tube and film cassette holder allowing for angulated exposures. The heavy-duty grid cabinet, the tray and the 10:1, 103 line grid (alternate grids are available) guarantee excellent exposures. The manual collimator with light beam and optional laser guided positioning system helps to place the patient quickly in the most accurate position for the x-ray exposure. The powerful rotating anode x-ray tube with dual focal spots and over-heat interlock provides for many years of trouble free operation. (A wide selection of x-ray tubes fits in the system.)
