AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC SERIE 201 DLP Self-cleaning equipment with disc ﬁltering element and 2” valves for exclusive use for irrigation water ﬁltration application. Disc ﬁltration. Maximum safety. Its careful design and manufacture guarantee an extended lifespan, resistance and high ﬁltration quality. AZUD HELIX device. Patented clogging retardant device. Performance optimization, minimum frequency and intensity of the maintenance labours. Self-cleaning ﬁltering element. Maximum water saving and efﬁciency in backwashing phase. Large ﬁltration area. Filtration degrees 100, 130, 200 and 400 micron. Ready to connect and operate thanks to AZUD FBC Control Unit, that allows complete automation of the equipment for different power supplies: 110-120; 220-240 V AC 50/60 Hz; 12 V DC. FILTRATION PHASE: Water ﬂows through the anti-clogging AZUD HELIX deﬂector before being in-depth ﬁltered by the disc stack. This devise generates a centrifugal helical effect that throws the heaviest particles away from the disc stack. This AZUD's patent avoids the sudden clogging of the ﬁlter, minimizing the backwash frequency. SELF-CLEANING PHASE: Backﬂushing valves reverse the ﬂow direction allowing the water, previously ﬁltered by the auxiliary ﬁlter, to ﬂow in opposite direction. Thus, the backﬂushing is activated, the disc stack is decompressed, and the cleaning water ﬂushes out the particles retained by the discs to the drainage.
