The WML5 consists of a Watermelon slicer and chunker. It employs a unique peeling and cutting technology, protected by an international patent, which operates on a different principle than traditional systems. Watermelons are manually fed into the machine, sliced to the desired size with the skin on, and then processed further. A camera system detects slice dimensions, guiding them to the appropriate grid blade assembly for cutting into chunks or spears while removing the skin.
ABL machines are designed to set new standards in performance and efficiency, focusing on operator safety, process automation, contamination control, and fruit-quality safeguarding. ABL provides ongoing training to maximize machine performance, with sessions available at their headquarters.
