Plant Stress Kit

Plant Stress Kit

Plant Stress Kit

Product catalog summary
Overview: The Plant Stress Kit is a compact and affordable solution for measuring plant stress through two key parameters: Quantum Yield of PSII (Y(II)) and Maximum Potential Quantum Efficiency of PSII (Fv/Fm). It includes two instruments housed in a single case, designed for both light and dark adapted measurements.
Specifications: The kit includes a Y(II) meter and an Fv/Fm meter, both weighing less than 0.5 kg. These meters are equipped with advanced electronic circuitry for accurate and reliable measurements. The Y(II) meter measures photosynthetically active radiation and leaf temperature, while the Fv/Fm meter adjusts modulated light intensity and detector gain automatically.
Components: The kit comes with two Li-ion batteries, USB chargers, USB cables, dark adaption clips, absorptance calibration cards, and a manual on a USB flash drive. The meters feature a mini USB port for data transfer and software upgrades, with data files compatible with Excel.
Parameters Measured: Key parameters include Y(II), ETR (Electron Transport Rate), PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation), leaf temperature, and relative humidity. The Fv/Fm meter provides rapid measurements and includes features like a graphic trace display and ergonomic design.
Power and Connectivity: The meters are powered by USB lithium-ion batteries with an 8-hour life per charge. They can also be powered directly from a charger. Data is stored in a 2 GB non-volatile flash memory and can be transferred via USB.
Technical Details: The meters use a pulse modulation method for detection, with a sampling rate that auto-switches based on the test phase. They feature a graphic black and white display and a menu-driven user interface. The kit is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 50°C.
Dimensions and Weight: The meters are 23 cm long with a 160 cm USB cable. The complete kit, including the case and accessories, weighs 1.5 kg.
Manufacturer Information: ADC Bioscientific Ltd., located in Hoddesdon, UK, provides contact details for further inquiries.

Plant Stress Kit-1

Plant Stress Kit Compact and affordable Y(II)/ETR & Fv/Fm meters One case, two instruments. One for measuring light adapted Quantum Yield of PSII or Y(II) and one for dark adapted Maximum Potential Quantum Efficiency of PS(II) or Fv/Fm Y(II)/ETR meter - Leaf absorptance using RGB sensors PAR and leaf temperature measured Fm’ correction according to Loriaux 2013 Long-term fluorescence monitoring mode Fv/Fm meter Rapid measurement of large populations – Lightweight dark adaption clips – Graphic Fv/Fm trace display – Compact, ergonomic design – Measurements from the same known state – Compact, lightweight and portable Supplied in a rigid clamshell case, the Plant Stress Kit comprises the Y(II) meter, Fv/Fm meter, 2 x Li/ion batteries, 2 x USB chargers, 2 x USB cables, 10 x dark adaption clips, 2 x absorptance calibration cards and manual on USB flash drive. Accurate and reliable results Weighing less than 0.5kg, these plant stress meters are the most advanced lightweight, compact and portable fluorometers available. The Y(II) meter follows established and proven scientific principles to provide the user with accurate plant stress measurements. Yield(II) is measured from the top of the leaf along with photosynthetically active radiation, while the leaf temperature is measured, over a large area, from the bottom of the chamber. This gives a more representative and accurate leaf temperature reading than a spot, thermistor measurement. The Fv/Fm meter utilises the latest in electronic circuitry to automatically adjust modulated light intensity and detector gain to provide the user with the most reliable and accurate measurements

Plant Stress Kit-2

Plant Stress Kit Long battery life Both fluorometers are powered by the latest Lithium ion USB batteries. These batteries can power the fluorometers for over 8 hours on a single charge. The batteries can be recharged overnight using the supplied international USB charger. The meters can also be powered directly from the charger but the batteries will not be charged during use. USB A mini USB port is provided on the back of both meters. When connected to a PC the meters become a hard drive, allowing the transfer of data measuring files and software upgrades. No special software is required. Data...
