General Information:
The Dryer Control Unit ATW605 is designed as a monitoring device for grain dryers to prevent fires. It features operation through three keys and a 4 x 7-segment display. The unit is housed in plastic with dimensions of 100 x 70 x 112mm and can be mounted on a DIN 35 top-hat rail or wall-mounted with screws.

Functional Data:
The unit uses a resistive, Pt10k 2-wire measuring method with a switchable measuring range of -30°C to +210°C or -22°F to +410°F, and -20°C to 310°C or -4°F to 590°F. It has a resolution of 1°C and an accuracy of ±3°C. The device supports four alarm functions: heater, conveyor, fan, and fire alarm, with outputs via four switchable relay NO/NC. Alarms are displayed through decimal points on the 7-segment display. The reaction time is less than 2 seconds, with an average value measurement of 4 minutes in the drying chamber and a start delay of 15 minutes. Error monitoring is available for sensor errors or cable breaks.

Interface:
An optional RS485 interface is available for printer integration or control system/PLC integration, allowing up to 30 devices to connect via a bus. It provides alarm signals when limit values are exceeded and allows reading of the alarm logbook with date/time of exceedance.

Electrical Data:
The unit operates at 24VDC with a ±20% variance and consumes 3W of power. The alarm output is a potential-free relay contact with a maximum switching voltage/current for the alarm relay of 240VAC/1AAC or DC.

Temperature Range:
The ambient and storage temperature range is -20°C to +60°C.

Safety Relevant Data:
The unit is classified under Protection Class III and has an IP protection class of IP20. It is ATEX certified for zone-free operation, with sensor circuits outgoing for zone 20.
