Operator manual easyFlow M

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The easyFlow M system is designed for dosing and transferring liquid plant protection products (PPP). It consists of a basic unit and optional accessories like a container support and discharge hose. The manual stresses the importance of following operating instructions for safety and proper use.
Installation and Startup
Installation requires connecting the easyFlow container adapter to the PPP container and securing it to the basic unit on an even surface. Detailed steps are provided for setup, including optional accessories.
Operation
The system uses a hand lever for connecting/disconnecting the PPP container and a measuring jug lever for controlling PPP and rinsing water flow. Safety measures include leak checks and ensuring unobstructed discharge hose flow.
Safety Instructions
Users must wear PPE when handling PPP. The manual outlines safety checks before use, adherence to local regulations, and warns against unauthorized modifications. Original spare parts are recommended.
Maintenance and Disposal
Annual inspections focus on components like canister and piston sealings. Instructions for part replacement and test runs are provided. Disposal guidelines emphasize environmentally friendly practices and compliance with regulations.
Spare Parts
A list of spare parts is provided with ordering and replacement instructions. Using original parts is advised to maintain warranty and liability.
Device Operation Procedures
  • Partial Dosing and Full Container Transfer: Allows for both partial dosing and full container transfer, with rinsing water directed into the sprayer's plumbing circuit.
  • Rinsing Lever: Separates the container adapter for rinsing. Operate by setting the measuring jug valve to position 3 and pushing the lever three times for three seconds each.
  • Venting Valve: Essential for pressure compensation, it automatically closes to prevent overflow and reopens when liquid level decreases.
  • Container Support: Required for containers larger than 10 liters, adjustable to fit the container's shape.
  • Bullseye Level: Ensures proper device positioning for accurate readings.
  • Measuring Jug: Features a graduated scale with a maximum capacity of 2250 ml, interchangeable, and should be rinsed before replacement.
  • Discharge Hose: Connects the measuring jug valve to the sprayer, using a dry coupling for contamination-free connections.
Installation and Startup
  • General Installation Instructions: Can be installed on a sprayer or at a filling station, connected to the suction side of the sprayer pump.
  • Installation Container Support (Optional): Secure using pipe connector pads and adjust as needed.
  • Mounting the easyFlow M: Connect the discharge hose to the suction side of the sprayer pump, using a valve to close the connection during normal operation.
  • Rinsing Water Connection: Use a pressure of 3.0 to 6.0 bar, with a non-return valve recommended to prevent contamination.
Operation
  • Partial Discharge: Follow steps to mount the container adapter, dose the PPP, and rinse the system.
  • Total Discharge: Similar steps as partial discharge, with adjustments for complete container emptying.
Procedures for Using the easyFlow System:
  • Seal Opening and Rinsing: The seal cutter opens the seal by three-quarters, keeping it attached to the container. After emptying, the container is rinsed using the standard procedure.
  • Discharge Process: Turn the hand lever clockwise to start discharge. Once empty, set the measuring jug lever to position 3 to begin rinsing. Rotate the container clockwise to remove residues, ensuring at least three rinses of 10 seconds each.
  • Final Rinsing Steps: Turn the hand lever counterclockwise, press the rinsing lever three times for three seconds each, and finish by setting the measuring jug lever to position 2. Ensure complete drainage before removing the container adapter.
  • Container Handling: Remove the container with the adapter, stretch and unscrew the adapter, and return the container for recycling. The adapter can be reused.
Transfer from Bulk Containers:
  • Connection and Transfer: Connect the easyFlow CTS hose adapter to the basic unit and secure it. Attach the anti-spill coupling to the bulk container, set the measuring jug lever to position 2, and turn the hand lever clockwise to increase the transfer rate.
  • Venting and Rinsing: Press the green cap of the venting valve to start transfer. After reaching the required volume, release the cap to stop. Rinse the system by connecting the female anti-spill coupling to a rinsing connection.
  • Final Steps: Press the green button to start rinsing, release the cap, and turn the hand lever counterclockwise to stop. Set the measuring jug lever to position 3 for rinsing, then to position 2 to finish. Disconnect the hose adapter and secure the blind cap.
Spare Parts:
Various parts are listed with part numbers, including anti-spill couplings, container adapters, discharge hoses, and more.
