Product catalog summary
Introduction
Ambic Equipment Limited is a leading specialist in dairy hygiene and livestock health management products. The PeraSpray™ system is designed to reduce the transmission of mastitis pathogens between cows during milking by sanitizing the milking cluster.

Specifications
The PeraSpray system includes a power unit with PPA-resistant seals, three applicators for comprehensive sanitization, and hanging hooks for storage. It uses peracetic acid (PAA) as a disinfectant, which is effective with a minimum contact time of 10 seconds and does not require rinsing.

Procedures
The system delivers a fresh solution to each cluster, ensuring effectiveness. The applicators sanitize both the inside and outside surfaces of the liner. The recommended PAA concentration is 0.05 – 0.1%.

Health & Safety
Independent research confirms that cluster spraying is safe under normal conditions, with considerations for droplet size, spray drift, and inhalation risks.

Benefits
The PeraSpray system offers a low capital investment with a short payback period. It is quicker and more effective than cluster dipping and is environmentally friendly, making it suitable for organic milk producers.

About Peracetic Acid The cluster is a well known source of transmission of mastitis pathogens from cow to cow. Once an infected cow has been milked, the next 6 to 8 cows milked through the same cluster are at risk of contamination and the first 1 or 2 cows are at a particularly high level of risk. Sanitation of the cluster between cows is one effective method of reducing this risk by killing any pathogens present before it is attached to the next cow. Peracetic acid (PAA) (also commonly referred to as peroxyacetic acid) has been found to be an effective means of cluster sanitisation for the following...
