The Agri Tank is a modular panel-type steel tank that bolts together for easy installation. Due to the flexibility in size the tank can adapt to the capacity that is needed. Strong wind resistance stiffeners make the tank a good investment for any farm or project. AGRI TANK WHY CHOOSE THE AGRI TANK The Agri Tank is available in capacities ranging from 15 m3 to more than 2 762 m3 and with a diameter ranging from 2,35 m to 19,66 m. Consequently, we offer a product for a wide range of specifications and requirements. Zincalume steel bolted tanks are suited to tough environments where dependability is vital. They can withstand extreme environments in any urban, rural, or remote location. The modular design principle of the tank kits offers ease of transport and assembly on site. The tank shell The tank wall is constructed from 1,0 mm to 6,0 mm zincalume steel panels, a metal that will last seven times longer than galvanised steel, with a life expectancy of more than 20 years. The zinc in the coating protects the exposed steel. Panels can also be colour coated at an optional extra. By adding cathodic protection that will corrode at a far lower rate than galvanised steel, corrosion of the zincalume panels is slowed down or even stopped. The roof design The tank roof is constructed using 55 mm full hard zincalume corrugated sheeting. The roof is trafficable across roof trusses, complete with a heavy-duty lockable access hatch. The roof is light and weatherproof, and designed to withstand wind speeds of up to 200 km/h. The roof can be fitted with a ventilator to prevent condensation on the inside and with an internal and external ladder for easy access. The roof can be sealed to make it bird and rodent proof. Potable PVC liner Aquadam uses a potable PVC (polyvinyl chloride) liner with woven base fabric polyester yarn 1100/1440 d/tex. These non-tear liners are manufactured as a heat-welded homogenous unit with welded seams of 50 mm wide. Anchoring of the tank Tank foundations can vary depending on the size, the application and the design requirements of the tank. A reinforced concrete ring beam is required to anchor the tank, especially for larger tanks and for installations in extreme windy conditions. Aquadam gives you detailed drawing and site preparation requirements for each installation. Modular flexibility The bolted nature of the tanks makes building very quick when compared to welded or concrete structures. It also allows the existing tanks to be unbolted and moved on to new locations when needed, significantly increasing asset value. Engineered designs will accommodate secure tank storage for local environmental conditions, such as high wind speeds, snow or seismic loads. The bolted tank and silo system allows for structural designs to be used in various configurations, including water storage reservoirs, water standpipes and elevated water distribution tanks.
