Product catalog summary
General Characteristics
Astore clamp saddles are designed for creating branches from existing pipelines used in water and irrigation systems. They come in three types: 503, 505, and 508, each with specific specifications for pipe coupling and threaded branches. The materials used include a PP black co-polymer saddle body, zinc chromed steel nuts and bolts, an NBR o-ring gasket, and an AISI 430 reinforcing ring. In aggressive environments, selecting appropriate metallic nuts and bolts is recommended.

Product Range
- 503 Single Branch: Suitable for pipes with diameters from 20 to 110 mm, with threaded branches ranging from 1/2” to 3”, and available with 2 or 4 bolts.
- 505 Single Branch: Suitable for pipes with diameters from 20 to 315 mm, with threaded branches ranging from 1/2” to 4”, and available with 2, 4, or 6 bolts, including a metal reinforcing ring.
- 508 Double Branch: Suitable for pipes with diameters from 20 to 315 mm, with threaded branches ranging from 1/2” to 4”, and available with 2, 4, or 6 bolts, including a metal reinforcing ring.

Standards and Pressure Rating
The threads comply with DIN 2999, BS 21, ISO 7-1 up to 160 mm, and ISO 228 from 180 to 315 mm. They are compatible with PE, PVC, and PP pipes according to respective ISO standards. The 503 model has a pressure rating of 6 bar at 20°C, while the 505 and 508 models require consultation of an enclosed table for pressure ratings.

Installation Procedure
1. Define the branch position and clean the pipe surface.
2. Insert the O-ring and position the upper saddle part.
3. Couple the bottom saddle part, insert bolts, and tighten diagonally.
4. Drill the pipe carefully to avoid damage.
