General Overview:
The VD-170 is a 170hp articulated wheeled dedicated mulching carrier designed to be both tough and lightweight. It features a Cummins QSB 4.5 engine and is compatible with various mulching systems.

Optional Features:
Includes an Arctic kit, warranty extension for the Cummins motor, and a recovery winch with a capacity of 25,000 lbs (11,340 kg).

Engine Specifications:
The engine provides a maximum power output of 170hp (127 kW) at 2200 rpm with a torque peak of 466 lb/ft (994 kg/m) at 1500 rpm. The cooling system includes a reversing and proportional fan.

Electrical System:
Features a 100 amp, 24 V alternator and a system voltage of 24 V. It includes a PLUS+1™ microcontroller with a color display and a 12V power outlet.

Hydraulic System:
The system operates at a maximum pressure of 5300 psi (365 bar) for the mulcher and 5800 psi (400 bar) for traction. It has a standard max flow of 53 gal/min (201 l/min) and a hydraulic tank capacity of 12 gal (45.5 l).

Cab Features:
The cab is pressurized and air-filtered, equipped with Lexan® 1/2” thick front and side windows, air conditioning/heater, and a color backup camera. It also includes a radio AM/FM/RDBS WB Sirius Satellite/iPod® ready.

Other Features:
Includes a fire extinguisher, hydrostatic Rexroth pumps and motors, and a hydraulic oil fill pump. The loader arms have a maximum lift height of 2.54m (8’4’’).

Loader Arms:
Maximum capacity is 20,000 lbs (9075 kg) with a maximum lift height of 2.54m (8’4’’).

Dimensions and Weight:
The vehicle weighs 5,675 lbs (2,575 kg) and has dimensions of 110.25 in (280 cm) in length, 98.75 in (251 cm) in width, and 19.31 in (49 cm) in height.

Warranty:
The Cummins engine warranty is 3 years or unlimited hours, parts and labor warranty is 2 years or 2000 hours, and a general warranty of 1 year or 2000 hours is provided.
