RB SPEED The Roto-bio-weeder is a new generation machine designed by Badalini for pre-emergency mechanical weeding, before sowing, in the context of a green agriculture and not only. Its purpose is to avoid the use of chemical weeding in order to obtain 2 advantages. First, to eliminate the insults caused by weeding on the structure of the soil and the future product, and second to save on costs. The machine allows, through a metal roller equipped with interchangeable tips with high resistance, to brush the ground of a few centimeters with the superficial aggressiveness necessary to eradicate the weed, even when it is in a phase of rather important growth, without slowing down the working speed of the tractor. This roller rotates quickly with the help of two cast steel boxes equipped with chain and gears connected to a hexagonal transmission shaft which in turn is associated with a 540 rpm reducer. The regulation of the working depth and therefore the type of aggressiveness on the ground can be decided by the use of the third point but above all by the regulation of the wheels or support roller. Attention: the work of this machine is not to be confused with that of a common tiller or hoe because its work must be superficial, uprooting and not milling to make it possible to sow without chemical treatment and put the growth of the product at an advantage compared to that of the weed.
