Neches

Product catalog summary
Overview of White Clover:
White clover is a perennial legume known for its ability to spread through branching stolons and produce its own nitrogen. Recent farm trials indicate that newer varieties of white clover release more nitrogen to companion grasses compared to older varieties. It is primarily used in grazing pastures due to its high protein and energy content. Studies have shown that incorporating white clover into grass pastures can increase dry-matter intake by 2 pounds per cow per day. A well-balanced mixture of grass and white clover can yield as much as pure grass fertilized with 175 pounds of nitrogen per acre.
Neches White Clover:
Developed by Texas A&M, Neches is an early flowering white clover designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the southern U.S. It features profuse flowering, which enhances its reseeding potential in warm season grass pastures. Neches is an intermediate variety with larger leaves and offers a high dry matter yield compared to other southern-developed varieties.
