Machine Description
The manual details the components of the mowers, including motor stop, handlebar adjustments, fuel and oil caps, and safety features. It also highlights specific features for Briggs & Stratton and Honda engines.
Technical Specifications
The mowers operate on unleaded petrol with a recoil starter and dry air filter. The FT 530 has a speed of 3 km/h, while the FT 533 offers speeds of 2.5, 3.2, and 4.0 km/h. Identification details are on a number plate.
Packing and Assembly
The mowers are delivered in a carton and require assembly of the handlebar and side conveyor. It is crucial to fill the engine with oil before use. Control cables must be adjusted, and safety checks performed before operation.
Safety Rules and Limits
Operators should wear noise protection and follow age restrictions. Safety precautions include emptying the fuel tank during transport and maintaining a safe working area. The manual advises against operating on steep slopes and modifying safety devices.
Transport
The mowers are designed for easy transport with features like free wheels transmission and a front support wheel. The handlebar is adjustable for compact storage.
Starting and Stopping
Fuel and oil levels should be checked before starting. Specific starting procedures are provided for different engines. The engine stops by releasing the motor stop lever.
Working and Adjustments
The mowers are suitable for heavy-duty work on various terrains. Adjustments can be made to mowing height and handlebar position. Guidance is provided for adjusting the transmission belt and handling challenging conditions.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance, including oil changes and engine checks, is essential. The engine should be stopped and the spark plug disconnected before servicing.
