For laying hens kept in cages – the efficient solution for detecting mortalities VIM is a system, developed by Big Dutchman, that reliably monitors the health of laying hens kept in cages. VIM is equipped with one laser scanner in each tier, which scans the hens’ legs. When VIM finds larger obstructions, it memorises the cage section where this obstruction occurred.
