COMMON FEATURES Bonsegna agricultural trailers have different load capacities depending on the number of axles: • Single-axle full load capacity up to 6 t. CUNA . or > 9 t. in. MOTHER REGULATION • Tandem full load capacity up to 14 t. CUNA or > 18 t. in MOTHER REGULATION • Tridem full load capacity up to 20 t. CUNA or > 27 t. in MOTHER REGULATION Of course, to determine the actual load capacity, the tare (the weight of the empty trailer) must be deducted. THE AXLES The axle is one of the main components of the trailer. Bonsegna trailers are usually fitted with tandem and tridem steering axles with reverse lock as standard. When the tractor is moving forward, the steering axle is left free, allowing the trailer to follow the tractor’ s line. When going in reverse, the steering axles must be locked/ straightened via the tractor distributor in order to go backward with locked axles. TRANSPORT RANGE There are two types of tipping trailers: 1. Three-sided tipping trailers 2. Agricultural Dumper trailers All tipping models feature: A device to prevent incorrect tilting pins. THREE-SIDED TIPPING TRAILERS This type of trailer is suitable for a variety of uses including transporting grain, cereals, olives and grapes. The floor is made of sheet metal with a smooth surface, which allows less friction of the material during unloading. The sides are made of press-folded JR235 steel for extra strenght. As optional the sides can be hot galvanised. The rear side can be opened underneath thanks to a lever (except for CMB20M) and a safety device ensures a secure hold during transport.
