Product catalog summary
Product Overview
Elyplast fibreglass sheets are designed for various construction applications, including canopies, small houses, and large technical constructions. They are available in both opaque and transparent versions, with a variety of colors and sizes to meet specific needs.
Specifications
The sheets are made of polyester resin reinforced with fibreglass and alumina, providing lightweight, durable, and resistant properties. Elyonda sheets feature an anti-UV gelcoat for enhanced abrasion resistance. Available colors include brick red, light grey, Swiss green, and smoky grey.
Installation Procedure
1. Choose the appropriate sheet size based on the roof dimensions.
2. Use an angle grinder to adjust the sheet size if necessary.
3. Begin installation from the bottom, either left or right.
4. Ensure the first row of sheets protrudes 10 cm from the supporting structure.
5. Use self-tapping screws for wood or coach screws for metal, drilling holes 3 mm larger than the screw diameter to allow for expansion.
6. Insert screws with watertight seals, using caps or BAZ gaskets for transparent sheets.
7. For side overlaps, seal with silicone.
8. Overlap sheets by one wave for subsequent rows, with a 20 cm overlap for roof slopes over 6°.
Product Variants
Elyplast sheets and rolls are suitable for canopies, pergolas, verandas, and more. They offer protection against direct light, are economical, lightweight, flexible, and resistant to weather and chemicals. Available in flat and corrugated forms, they come in various thicknesses and colors, including neutral and translucent green, with custom colors available on request.
Key Considerations
Ensure proper overlap and sealing for optimal performance. The sheets provide excellent dimensional stability and safety against breakages, making them suitable for vertical installations and creating doors, windows, and closures.
