Especially sensitive crops that tend to produce volunteers during their final phase of ripening require special harvesters that feature the appropriate technology to minimize such losses. The TruFlex (Razor) Air draper head features an integrated air system that is designed to maximize yields in sensitive cereals and legumes such as soybean and canola. The new and integrated air flow system blows the seeds dropping from open pods to the belt which feeds them to the threshing system. The controlled flow of air carries those seeds and pods that have escaped the reel.

Traditional systems Traditional systems require operators to devote a great deal of attention to the cutting system, especially on very large wide headers. The Geringhoff TruFlex (Razor) Air is a unique feature that forms an integral part of the cutterbar instead of using exterior tubes that are routed in front of the reel where they present a risk to the crops.
