Product catalog summary
Product Overview: Basfoliar® Inicial SP is an EC fertilizer with a grey-white color, designed for agricultural and horticultural crops. It is a crystalline solid fertilizer that is homogenously treated to improve transport and storage properties.
Physical Properties: The bulk density ranges from 850-1000 g/l, and the pH is between 3-4 when mixed in water at a 1:10 ratio.
Macronutrients: Contains 26.0% nitrogen (N) in various forms (NH4, NO3, NH2), 10.0% P2O5 (phosphate), and 10.0% potassium (K), all water-soluble. It also includes 3.0% magnesium oxide (MgO) and 3.3% sulfur (S).
Micronutrients: Includes 0.10% boron (B), 0.05% iron (Fe), 0.80% zinc (Zn), 0.02% copper (Cu), 0.002% molybdenum (Mo), and 1.00% manganese (Mn). Cu, Fe, Mn, and Zn are chelated by EDTA.
Miscibility: The fertilizer is compatible with most plant protection agents but not with strongly alkaline products or mineral oils. A compatibility test is recommended before use.
Storage Instructions: The product can be stored in its unopened original container for several years. Opened containers should be resealed immediately as the product is hygroscopic. Hardening during storage does not affect its chemical quality or solubility.
Application Recommendations: Suitable for customized fertilization, it prevents clogging of drip emitters or nozzles due to its excellent solubility. Special care is needed when using certain types of water that may cause precipitation.
