STRAW DRUM HALMU DSP The HALMU DSP straw drum is designed to provide maximum rough pre-cleaning of raw material with much straw or large particles to be removed from the material before the final process. The HALMU is of solid steel construction. The drum and the feed roller are driven by means of a geared motor via chain drive. Inspection of the drum is done through the door on the front of the machine. Exchange of the drum is done through the door, fastened by bolts, in the end gable of the machine. The drum is available with different mesh sizes, dependent on the type and variety of the raw material. The net of the drum is made of reinforced steel.. STRAW DRUM HALMU DSPFunction The raw material is conveyed in over the straw drum via a distributor and a feed roller with a weighted capacity slide. The clean material flows through the drum via catchers to the clean material channel. Here it is possible to connect aspiration for dust removal. Pieces of straw and other large impurities are segregated on the top side of the drum and conveyed to the outlet for waste material.
