BALE WRAP BALE WRAP SUPERIOR PROTECTION FOR BALED SILAGE Manufactured specifically to suit New Zealand conditions, Donaghys Crop Packaging offers a full range of multilayered co-extruded wrap. Our Silage Wrap has an enhanced UV formulation for superior protection with a minimum 12-month UV resistance in the field. Donaghys Crop Packaging Silage Wrap is available in both dricore and plastic core options. Plastic cores provide protection against the core swelling due to dampness, such as overnight moisture. The Dricore™ is a paper-based, water-resistant core. While it is not waterproof, there is a water barrier on all surfaces of the core, including the edges, which greatly reduces the absorption of water to protect the rolls. It is recommended that the rolls are stored upright and in their original packaging until required. Our range of Silage Wrap includes advanced 5-layer films from Aspla (Spain) we now also offer 7-layer film options. Our superior silage wrapping solutions range from Eco Ultra, which offers an extra long 1800 metre roll for wrapping around bales; through to Supergrass 5 Plus that provides superior puncture strength and tear resistance and is ideal for stalky crops and high-speed, square bale wrappers.
