Performance Specifications
The water-powered dosing technology offers adjustable dosage ranging from 0.2% to 2% (1:500 to 1:50). It operates with a water flow rate of 1 to 20 m3/h (16.66 to 333.3 l/min or 5 to 100 US GPM) and a water pressure of 0.12 to 10 bar (2 to 120 PSI). The concentrated product injection rate is between 2 to 400 l/h (0.009 to 1.75 US GPM).

Technology Features
This unique technology integrates all dosing functions without the need for electricity, using water flow and pressure as the energy source. It includes a volumetric hydraulic motor for measurement, continuous proportional injection for dosing, flow rate-proportional regulation, and integrated mixing for homogenization.

Installation and Maintenance
For installation on potable water networks, compliance with local standards is required. Recommendations include installing a 60-micron filter upstream, changing dosage seals annually, frequent rinsing with clear water, adjusting dosage without pressure, and installing protections against overflows and pressure surges. The Dosatron should be mounted in a total bypass line.

Materials and Options
Standard materials include polypropylene, PVC, aluminum, polyamide, EPDM, and stainless steel. Options for optimized compatibility include seals for alkaline and acidic products, PVDF casing, Hastelloy plunger rod, external injection, and kits for viscous products. Additional installation options include integrated bypass and special suction hose materials.

General Operating Conditions
The maximum operating water temperature is 40°C (104°F) and the minimum is 5°C (41°F). The dosing accuracy is approximately +/- 5%, with repeatability of +/- 3% (API 675 standard). Pressure loss ranges from 0.12 to 0.88 Bar (1.74 to 12.76 PSI) depending on conditions.

Additional Integrated Functions
The system includes a motor protection filter, pressure fittings, integrated bypass, purge, and anti-siphon device. The motor is a double-acting hydraulic piston with a displacement of ~5 liters (1.32 US Gallons) per cycle, and it features a mixing chamber.

Dosage and Aspiration
The system supports pre-dilution at the outlet, single-effect dosing piston, and double membrane suction valve. It is self-priming with a maximum concentrate viscosity of 400 cSt at 20°C (68°F) and a maximum suction height or length of 4 meters (13 feet).
