ELICA Destoner works on the principle of vacuum to separate heavy impurities such as stones, and any other potentially harmful objects. The seeds are fed onto the deck where a combination of vibrations and aspiration results in stratification of the material by relative wight, with heavier layers on the bottom and lighter layers on the top. Once the material is stratified, the vibrating deck pushes the heavier layers in contact with the deck upward towards the impurities’ discharge.
