  • Offers on-site operational and maintenance training.
  • Available in stroke lengths of 4 and 6 inches.
  • Lifetime warranty on parts and materials, covering material and workmanship.
  • Reduces maintenance costs by minimizing downtime and premature component wear.
  • Supports conveyor speeds up to 120 ft./min. (540 m/min.) and loading capacity up to 10,000 lbs. (44,400 N).
  • Operates in temperatures up to 350˚F (162˚C).
Product Description

The Enidine Hydraulic Tow Bar Snubbers manage the acceleration and deceleration of material handling systems by minimizing shock forces transmitted to structural components. This increases the service life of inverted and overhead power and free conveyors by reducing shock forces during production line operations.

Technical Specifications
  • Hardened clevis surfaces for high load capacity and elimination of mounting hole elongation.
  • Uses synthetic hydrocarbon fluid for high temperature capacity and reduced internal component friction.
  • Long life bearing design with hardened wear surface and increased bearing length for stability in incline or decline operations.
  • Optional protective can for paint, weld slag, and contamination protection.
  • Seal package extends service life and offers high temperature capacity with a metallic rod scraper.
  • Standard high temperature enamel finish with optional finishes available.
Performance Example

For a carriage weight of 5,000 lbs. (2,270 Kg) and velocity of 60 ft./min. (18 m/min.) with a snubber stroke of 6 inches (0.15 m), the reaction force transmitted to the structure is reduced from 3,730 lbs. (16,560 N) to 222 lbs. (985 N) with the use of Enidine Tow Bar Snubbers.
