Functionality
The pump operates through a suction and pumping cycle. During the suction cycle, the piston moves upwards, reducing air pressure inside the machine, which causes the outlet valve to close and the inlet valve to open, filling the pump chamber with slurry. During the pumping cycle, the piston moves downward, forcing the inlet valve to close and the outlet valve to open, transferring the slurry to the discharge pipe.

Control Mechanism
The piston movement is controlled by top and bottom sensors. When the sensor activation mechanism reaches the upper side, it activates the top sensor, initiating the downward pumping action. Conversely, when it reaches the bottom point, it activates the bottom sensor, starting the upward suction action.

Maintenance
The piston pump requires lubrication through four lubricators located on the top of the pump.
