EZ ROTA Manual Brush Filter Description: This brush filter series are equipped with a brass brushes assembly for cleaning the screen. The assembly is manually operated by handle on filter cover. The brushes enable efficient cleaning of all the screen area without interfering the irrigation process. Dirty water enters the filter and passes through the screen. As the water passes through the screen, the solids accumulate creating a "cake" of dirt on the inner surface of the screen. This cake performs finer filtration than the screen itself, resulting an increased filter efficiency. The cake also creates a pressure loss across the screen. The differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the filter is measured by pressure gauges installed at the inlet/outlet pipes. The flushing cycle is performed manually. The operator opens the drain valve and rotates the handle, the handle connected with the brushes assembly remove the dirt from the screen and flushed out through the drain valve. Available in the following sizes: 2", 3", 4", 6".
