Machine Description:
The MEK 1800 is a mechanical mounted harvester designed for shell fruit harvesting using a mechanical gathering principle. It can be attached to tractors with a three-point linkage, both anterior and posterior, and requires a PTO of 540 r.p.m. The harvesting process involves horizontal brushes that guide the product towards augers and screens for initial cleaning. The cleaned product is then pushed by a fan into bags or a trailer. An optional lateral brush can be installed for inter-row harvesting.
