Fransgård Maskinfabrik A/S is a 100% Danish-owned factory that manufactures a wide variety of machines for the agricultural, forestry and road sectors. The company was founded by Thorkild B. Fransgaard in 1967, when he purchased Fredbjerg smede- og maskinværksted (Fredbjerg Forge and Mechanical Workshop) where he did his apprenticeship. The metalworking company later became an agricultural machinery factory, and is now a state-of-the-art factory with approx. 50 employees and a production area covering more than 10,000 m².
