Overview: The G939 Series grain moisture testers are designed for high accuracy and simplicity in measuring the moisture content of whole grains and seeds. Developed to meet national and international metrology standards, these testers are suitable for use in various stages of grain processing, including harvesting, drying, storage, and trade.
Specifications: The G939 Series includes two models: G939 STD (without printer) and G939 IP (with a compact thermal printer). The testers feature a moisture measurement range from 1% to 50%, depending on the product, and incorporate an electronic scale with a precision of 1,000 g ± 0.3 g. They operate within a temperature range of 0 º to 50 ºC and have a net weight of 5.7 kg. The external dimensions are 345 x 311 x 192 mm, and they require an energy source of 90 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, with a consumption of 5 Watts.
Features: The G939 Series performs nondestructive tests and automatically starts the measurement process upon sample input. It includes a self-calibration function for accuracy and allows for calibration curve updates via the Internet. The testers can store up to 250 calibration curves, which are annually re-evaluated. A compensation algorithm adjusts for temperature effects on moisture readings.
Data and Reporting: The testers display sample moisture percentage and temperatures on an alphanumeric display. After each measurement, reports can be printed or transferred to a computer, including details such as moisture content, temperatures, date, time, product name, sample weight, and tester specifications, in compliance with ISO/GLP and GMP procedures.
Accessories and Options: The equipment comes with an instruction manual, an oval plastic cup, a DB9 x DB9 RS 232C connection cable, a chamber test cleaning brush, an RS 232C/DB9 to USB adapter, and a carrying case. Optional accessories include a compact thermal printer (model IG200).
Technical Support: The product comes with a one-year warranty, and technical assistance is available through the manufacturer or authorized local service partners.
Manufacturing and Calibration: The G939 Series is manufactured in Brazil, with calibration curves developed from extensive grain sample data collected across the country. The Gehaka grain moisture test laboratory is part of the RBLE - Brazilian Test Laboratory Network, accredited by Inmetro.
