Steel mesh storage tank

Product catalog summary
Steel Mesh Storage Tank Overview
The steel mesh storage tank is constructed using 3-meter long hot-dip galvanized elements, offering volumes ranging from 192 to 1695 cubic meters. It is designed for installation on surfaces with low load-bearing capacities, eliminating the need for a concrete base. The tank's steel mesh wall is positioned 0.5 meters below ground level on a simple ring foundation made of concrete slabs or tiles.

Compliance and Certification
This tank complies with European construction guidelines for slurry storage and holds a system certificate (55381) from the Dutch certification authority KIWA.

Tank Liner Specifications
The tank liner is composed of a 1 mm thick Fecatex® PVC film for the bottom and Genatex® 850, a reinforced PVC film, for the walls. These materials are specifically designed for contact with slurry and organic liquids. The liner features an overlap edge with stainless steel rings and is secured with a dralon cord, ensuring a slurry-resistant system that prevents groundwater contamination. A HDPE layer is placed between the steel wall and the tank liner for additional protection, and a protective felt may be laid on the bottom depending on the installation surface.

Tank Cover Options
Genap provides several cover options for steel mesh tanks, with the Genap floating cover being the most popular and cost-effective choice for slurry storage.
