Expected results, when crowning in average conditions: • Slicing = 60 - 80 % • Dicing = 70 - 95 % Planting and seed variety are adapted to the harvester, this to ensure the best result of crowning. By toplifting industry carrots, the processing industry has a minimum of stones and soil in the plant. Toplifting is also very gentle and has a minimum of wearing, compared to sharelifting. By toplifting and crowning, a more precise levelling is achieved, which means that less tonnage is wasted.
