Maximum production and quality Today rose cultivation pushes plant and substrate to the utmost. To realise a vigorous and uniform crop with a strong root system under both dull and sunny conditions, good root establishment, large steerability and uniform distribution of WC and EC are prerequisites. Steerability of water content and EC WG (vol%) Flortop rosa has wider steering ranges for WC and EC. When WC might have been decreased (too much), it can be quickly levelled up again because of the slab’s remarkably large re-saturation capacity. The fibre structure ensures that there will always be enough air in the substrate, so that the grower can always take the crop’s needs and the season into account and vary the WC and EC values without a problem.
