Product catalog summary
Introduction to Drench PEQ
Drench PEQ is a dietary supplement designed for fresh cows or those with reduced appetite. It provides essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and additives to support the metabolism of fresh and sick cows.
Purpose and Benefits of Drenching
Drenching is an effective method to support cows by ensuring nutrient absorption and rehydration, especially for those suffering from dehydration due to low feed intake and loose manure. It stimulates appetite and adds weight to the rumen/abomasum. Drenching is particularly beneficial during the calving period, addressing issues such as milk fever, ketosis, retained placenta, lack of rumen activity, displaced abomasum, and reduced appetite. It also aids sick or weak cows with udder or claw health issues, rumen acidosis, or post-operation recovery.
Ingredients of Drench PEQ
Drench PEQ includes glucogenic energy from dextrose and calcium propionate, organic calcium, electrolytes, high-quality protein, vitamins, minerals, organic trace elements, live yeasts, sodium bicarbonate, a mycotoxin binder, and a high dose of B vitamins to support liver function, energy, and protein metabolism.
Administration Guidelines
During drenching, it is crucial to provide at least 20 liters of water, with adult cows capable of receiving up to 40 liters, to stimulate kidney function.

DrenchPEQ-1

Drench PEQ® The most comprehensive drench product Drench PEQ: Drench PEQ is an addition to the diet of fresh cows or animals with a reduced appetite. The many nutrients, vitamins, minerals and additives in Drench PEQ support the metabolism of fresh and sick cows. Drenching is the most efficient and best way to support fresh cows and sick cows. The main reason to administer a drench is not only to ensure the cow absorbs important nutrients, but also to re-hydrate her. Water is the major source of nutrients for cows with problems as they often suffer from dehydration caused by a too low feed intake and too loose manure. Drenching also stimulates the cow's appetite and creates weight in the rumen/abomasum. The calving period is a challenging time for fresh cows due to aspects such as hormonal changes, lower immunity and a negative energy balance. Fresh cows are often drenched to provide support to cope with: • Milk fever • Ketosis • Retained placenta • Cows with no rumen activity • Displaced abomasum • Reduced appetite. Drenching is also very beneficial for sick or weak cows with e.g. problems with udder or claw health, rumen acidosis or animals recovering from an operation. Drench PEQ contains many ingredients: • Glucogenic energy from dextrose and calcium propionate • A shot treatment of organic calcium • Electrolytes • High quality source of protein • Vitamins and minerals • Organic trace elements • Live yeasts and sodium bicarbonate for an optimal rumen function • Mycotoxin binder • High dose of B vitamins to support the liver function, energy and protein metabolism. During drenching, ensure the cow is given at least 20 litres of water. An adult cow can easily be administered 40 litres of water. This will stimulate the kidney function.
