The Hexa-Cover® Oil & Gas Duty is a patented floating cover designed for use in various oil and gas tank applications. It is particularly effective for hot heavy oil duties such as CHOPS, Diluted Bitumen, and SAGD.
Design and Functionality
The Hexa-Cover® features a hexagonal shape with symmetric ribs, allowing it to distribute evenly across the liquid surface, forming a barrier that reduces odours and vapours. Its low density ensures it floats, and a helical scalloped edge allows for interlocking to form an integrated matrix.

- Polymer classified as static dissipative with a surface resistivity of 3.7 x EO9Ω sq” (ASTM Test method D257).
- Can be installed while tanks are operational, minimizing downtime.
