Fortica®FreeFlow® Ventilation Hotraco Agri presents a highly innovative solution for optimum ventilation of free range houses with pop hole doors: Fortica®FreeFlow®. The company responds to four relevant problems experienced by these poultry farmers: condensation on the litter at pop hole doors, strong air stream at the pop hole doors which can reduce the productivity of the animals, an optimal distribution of fresh air in the poultry house and the high energy costs that occur with an equal pressure system. Fresh air is blown into the poultry house by the inlet chimneys and pushes the (warm) air out through the pop holes. A perfect distribution of fresh air throughout the house. Without condensation and wet spots in the litter, without separate exhaust chimneys on the roof and without double energy costs to run both inlet and exhaust fans simultaneously. When the shutters are closed again Fortica®FreeFlow® switches back automatically to pressure ventilation.
