Robust Housing Designed for Extreme Environment SeeBrite™ FloodView light fixtures are manufactured with a Lexan® shatterproof lens mated with an Kydek® plastic housing for an entirely non-conductive light fixture. Unlike metal, FloodView light fixtures will not allow the light housing to act as a grounding point. A metal housing design will allow electrolysis which eats the metal causing the housing to fill with water and short.
