Product catalog summary
Necessary Heat-Capacity:
To determine the required heating capacity in livestock buildings, consider both transmission and ventilation losses. The formula used is: Transmission-loss + ventilation-loss = heating-capacity + animal-heat. Key factors include room type (weaner, farrow, breeding, gestation, broiler), compartment and outside temperatures, wind velocity, R-value of building materials, crack-losses, number and weight of animals, and minimum ventilation quantity.
Climate Control:
Modern ventilation systems integrate heating and cooling with precise climate control. Roof ventilation systems or individual inlets ensure low airspeed to prevent draughts. Heating elements are placed under the ceiling to warm incoming air.
Heating System Requirements:
  • Good heat conduction
  • High reaction speed
  • Great radiation
  • Lightweight (7 kg per 20 ft, including water)
  • Long lifetime
  • Simple assembly and manageability
  • Standard length of Delta/Twin tube: 6000 mm
  • Connectable without additional machining after measuring correct length
Additional Features:
The DELTA/TWIN tube offers high heat radiation and a small water volume for a high reaction speed. The anodised aluminium construction prevents corrosion, suitable for aggressive climates and compatible with aluminium or plastic couplings to avoid galvanic corrosion.

Delta AZUk-1

Necessary heat-capacity: Separately from a balanced ventilation/heating system, it is of course important how much installed heating/capacity you need in your livestock buildings. The need for heat is calculated as follows: ‘Transmission-loss + ventilation-loss = heating-capacity + animal-heat’’ The following points should be kept in mind: • Room compartment (weaner, farrow, breeding, gestation and broiler houses). • Compartment-temperature and minimum outside-temperature. • Wind velocity. • R-value (insulatingvalue) of walls, roof and floor. • Minimum ventilation-quantity. Climate: The ventilation systems are becoming more and more accurate all the time and the climate-control is continuously playing a bigger role. In general a modern: micro-climate system integrates ventilation, heating and cooling and is controlled between narrow margins. Demands: Using roof ventilation systems, or individual inlets or continuous inlets, it is known that the incoming air is departed through the inlets, through which the airspeed is very low (no draught symptoms). In order to warm this air, it is necessary to place under the ceiling heating-elements. Important for the heating system: • Need to be a good heat-conductor. • Need to have a high reaction-speed. • Have a great radiation. • Are light-weighted (7 kg per 20 ft, included the water). • Have a long lifetime. • Have a simple assembling and a good manage ability. • Without additional machining connectable after measuring correct length size. Great reaction speed: Due to the high heat radiation of the DELTA/TWIN tube and the small water-volume, one gets a very high reaction-speed which is very important. Long lifetime: The aluminium DELTA-tubes are anodised to prevent corrosion. Against external corrosion: aggressive climate, Against galvanic corrosion: only aluminium or plastic couplings.
