UNDERLAY WITH MICROPOROUS FILM Membrane for facades systems with closed joints PRODUCT DESCRIPTION JUTADACH 85 is manufactured by thermally bonding layer of non-woven spun bonded polypropylene with a microporous film to create a lightweight air-tight breathable wall membrane. ◾ JUTADACH 85 is used for ventilated vertical closed-joints facade systems. ◾ JUTADACH 85 is fixed directly onto wall construction with no requirement for ventilation space from bottom. ◾ Due to its light weight JUTADACH 85 can not be used as roofing breather membrane for pitched roofs. ◾ JUTADACH 85 is lightweight but durable and combines good rain-resistance with high vapour permeability, making it suitable for vertical fassades applications with closed joints. ◾ JUTADACH 85 offers year round protection in all weather conditions against leakages and water vapour condensation in facades systems. ◾ JUTADACH 85 is available with single or double integrated tape upon request. ◾ JUTADACH 85 can be tailored to your requirements in regards to colour, design and palletisation. ◾ JUTADACH 85 is fully recyclable and naturally mould and rot resistant. ◾ JUTADACH 85 fully conforms to EN 13859/2. STORAGE ◾ Rolls should be stored flat on a clean, level surface, and kept away from sunlight. ROLL SPECIFICATION WIDTH OF MEMBRANE ROLL WEIGHT Each roll is labelled and wrapped in a polyethylene sleeve and stored horizontally, fastened, and wrapped on wooden pallets. * Other roll sizes are available upon request Dukelská 417, 544 15 Dvůr Králové nad Labem Czech Republic www.juta.cz 02 – 001 – 01 – AN INSTALLATION ◾ Prior to the installation of JUTADACH 85 ensure all surfaces to be covered are firmly fixed, clean, dry and smooth. ◾ To install, JUTADACH 85 should be laid horizontally onto wall construction and fixed with non corrosive flat-headed nails or staples. Counter battens are then installed over the underlay, and fixed through. The battens for cladding are fixed to the counter battens leaving space between the underlay and the battens for drainage and air ventilation. ◾ JUTADACH 85 should not come into contact with chemical wood treatments, particularly when installed in contact with still wet wooden elements after their impregnation. ◾ JUTADACH 85 should be installed loose, flat and without wrinkles. ◾ Where possible the number of laps should be kept to a minimum by using full lengths of sheeting. Laps should be a minimum of 150 mm. ◾ Laps should be preferably sealed with integrated single or double tape. Simply peel off the liner and fix the overlaps applying manual pressure. ◾ It is suggested to cover JUTADACH 85 by claddings without delay. ◾ Attention to detail is important.
