Multifunctional Depth Control Wheels The coulter sections move up and down on a parallelogram linkage. The two large diameter wheels in front of each section control the drilling depth, and can be set via an adjustable spindle. These wheels also compact the top layer slightly, increasing soil contact around the seeds to ensure a more even germination. The wheels can be loaded up to 1000 kg/m across the working width.
