SELECTION OF A RELIABLE PACKAGING SOLUTION RESALE VALUE In three criteria, i.e. resale value, use for empty packaging and space saving when not in use, pallet collars exceeded all other types of packaging solutions. There are many types of packaging solutions available today. Seeking the best solution for their goods, businesses in different industries and sectors have strict requirements when it comes to packaging. It should ensure protection of the goods, be robust, ergonomic, convenient, safe for humans, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly, etc. Much like some other types of packaging solutions, pallet collars performed very well in such criteria as production time, repairability, stackability and environmental impact. Which packaging is the best for the requirements of manufacturers of different products? Can one type of packaging have all the parameters needed? The only criteria, in which pallet collars ranked behind cardboard boxes, was the price, as this type of packaging falls outside the budget segment. PALLET COLLAR PARAMETERS TEST SUBJECTS The test covered seven types of packaging: the pallet collar, cardboard box, plastic box, wooden box, non-standard plywood box, disposable plywood packaging and metal box.
