Feeding considerations: Test maternal colostrum with a Brix refractometer to determine quality. If the Brix refractometer reading is: • Below 18% - Discard maternal colostrum and use LAND O LAKES® Bovine IgG Colostrum Replacer. • Between 18-22% - Use LAND O LAKES® Bovine IgG Colostrum Replacer in conjunction with maternal colostrum. • 22% or greater – On-farm maternal colostrum may be used if at least 1 gallon is available per calf.2 Feed calves the first serving of colostrum within 1 hour of birth and a second serving of colostrum within 8-12 hours of birth. *Always follow label directions Mixing...
