Open the catalog to page 4Flat spray nozzles get more and more state of the art for air-assisted sprayers in orcharding and viticulture as well as in other speciality crops. Beside an extraordinary reduction of drift with 99/95/90/75/50 % depending on nozzle make, nozzle size, range of spray pressure and mode of air-assisted sprayers there are some more essential advantages compared to hollow cone nozzles: Approval as drift reducing technology (e.g. Germany, Sweden, Austria, Netherlands) More uniform coverage Same biological efficacy No spot formation on fruit No visible spray mist ISO colour-coded for simple...
Open the catalog to page 5SPRAY NOZZLE TECHNOLOGY Calculation formula for applications for wine and orchards Use of nozzles with identical nozzle sizes The total nozzle output of the crop protection equipment is calculated in accordance with the following formula: . M x VF x B V= 600 . V = Total nozzle output, l/min The number of nozzles of the next-smaller nozzle size is taken into account corresponding to the total number of nozzles. The working width corresponds to the distance between the driving lanes, i.e. the row spacing if every driving lane is used. If only every second driving lane is used, the working width...

To avoid interference of single fans nozzle have to be twisted about 7°-10°. Therefore use a wrench AF10 (ID/ST) or AF 8 (IDK/AD). a) Put a hose fitting straight to the nozzle body b) If necessary use O-Ring or equivalent sealing c) Run sprayer with the working set-up (pressure, motor revolution, etc.) d) Get water in a measuring cup for 1 minute and compare with calculated...

Current list under www.lechler-agri.com For application of fungicides and insecticides in asparagus vertical spray booms are recommended. Those differ in number of nozzles and nozzle spacing. State of the art nozzle set-up is with 90° spray angle drift reducing nozzles. Due to coarser droplets the penetration of the asparagus is increased. Drift reduction up to 90 % is possible (see actual list of drift and loss reducing technique under www.lechler-agri.de). Calculation...

In order to protect the nozzle filter, we recommend selecting a mesh filter in the pressure filter which is one category finer. The recommendations for the mesh size (M) of the nozzle filter/cup strainer are provided in the spray tables according to nozzle size.
