Product description Standardized composition (NFU 44001): Classe IV Type 9 Spreadable for fine-grained products. Converter steel slag is formed during the conversion of pig iron into steel. Steelmakers use an excess of lime in this process. This lime is present in the agricultural slag, and the high temperatures involved during production give it properties that are highly valued in agriculture.
