MANTSINEN DUST SUPPRESSION Mantsinen Dust Suppression system is an optional function used in dusty applications, for example scrap or coal handling. The dust suppression system sprays a targeted mist of water during grab operations and prevents dust spreading. Dust Suppression provides an efficient method in reducing dust into the environment and worksite. Dust presents not only a clear fire hazard and safety risk, but creates also an uncomfortable work environment. It is important to take steps to reduce dust levels for the benefit of both safety as well as work comfort. Mantsinen Dust Suppression system can be adjusted in multiple ways: • Automatic spraying Water spraying starts automatically during work movements. The function can be selected so that automatic spraying is activated only when opening or closing the attachment, or in both directions • Spray while opening Water spray time when opening the attachment. • Spray while closing Water spray time when closing the attachment. • Spraying delay when opening Water spraying delay when opening the attachment. • Spray delay when closing Water spray delay when closing the attachment. ATTENTION The Dust Suppression system uses water, so the system must not be used in ambient temperatures below 0 °C (32 F). Frozen water can break the components of the system.
