Product catalog summary
Introduction
This manual provides essential guidelines for the safe operation and maintenance of the MAXPULL Manual Winch models ME-5-L and ME-10-L, specifically designed for horizontal pulling tasks. It emphasizes the necessity of reading and understanding the manual before use and keeping it accessible.

Safety Instructions
Safety warnings are categorized into 'DANGER' and 'WARNING' to highlight potential hazards. The winch is strictly for horizontal pulling and not for lifting people or vertical lifting. Modifications or using non-genuine parts are prohibited.

Specifications
The ME-5-L model has a wire rope tension capacity of 500kg, while the ME-10-L can handle 1,000kg. Both models feature a manual latch-type stopper brake, specific gear ratios, and handle lengths for optimal performance.

Installation
Installation should be conducted by experts to ensure safety and functionality. The winch must be installed on a level, strong surface, allowing easy maintenance access. Welding the winch into place is advised against.

Usage Environment
The winch should not be used in extreme temperatures, high humidity, or environments with excessive dust, oil, acid, or salt. Outdoor installations require a rainproof cover to prevent corrosion.

Wire Rope Installation
Detailed instructions are provided for wire rope installation, emphasizing correct specifications to prevent breakage. The rope should be wound around the drum in a specific pattern for proper operation.

Operation and Maintenance
Operators should perform pre-work inspections and be aware of handle operation risks. Regular maintenance and inspections are crucial for the winch's longevity and safety.

Wire Rope Winding Procedures
Ensure correct winding of the wire rope, set pressure rollers and side frames, and secure bolts and nuts. Remove looseness using a wire stretcher and apply proper tension.

Winch Operation and Pre-work Inspection
Confirm secure attachment and load capacity, correct wire rope winding, and replace damaged ropes. Conduct component inspections for functionality.

Precautions During Operation
Do not exceed capacity or use for unintended purposes. Maintain a safe distance and wear appropriate safety gear. Temporarily stop operations if the wire rope stretches.

Troubleshooting
Check for loose wire ropes or debris if the stopper brake fails. Inspect for wear or obstacles if abnormal sounds or handle load changes occur.

Maintenance and Repair
Conduct daily and regular inspections, performed by knowledgeable personnel, and record results. Replace consumable parts with genuine ones and indicate when the winch is under maintenance.

Inspection and Maintenance Guidelines
Wear appropriate attire for inspections. Regular maintenance of the stopper brake is crucial. Inspection frequency varies by environment: annually indoors, every six months outdoors, and every three months in dusty areas. Operate unused winches bi-weekly and inspect the stopper brake before use.

Disassembly and Inspection Procedure
Ensure the wire rope is load-free, remove the handle, disassemble the clutch and ratchet wheel, clean and inspect parts, and reassemble with recommended grease.

Inspection Checklist
Regular inspections should confirm the integrity of winch components. Correct any defects before operation.

Contact Information
For questions or repairs, contact the distributor or manufacturer with the model, serial number, installation location, and service years.

Safety Information
Read the manual thoroughly before use and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
