The MTBDR16 Plant Growth Chamber is engineered for advanced plant physiology research, ensuring consistent plant canopy temperature. It features a constant temperature lamp bank cooled by a refrigeration system, providing stable light intensity regardless of temperature. The chamber supports tall plants with a growth height of 65 inches and a growth area of 16.2 square feet.

Lighting
The chamber uses a unique lamp bank design maintaining constant temperature and light intensity. It combines T8 fluorescent and halogen incandescent lamps with three light levels per type, offering a broad spectrum ideal for plant growth. Standard lighting intensity is 800 micromoles/m2/s, with higher intensities available.

Experiment Protection
User-programmable alarms monitor chamber operation against set points, providing accurate monitoring without frequent adjustments. Backup alarms and visual/audible notifications enhance protection, with connectivity to building management systems.

Airflow
