Product catalog summary
Introduction
Meier-Brakenberg GmbH & Co. KG specializes in cooling systems for livestock environments, focusing on maintaining optimal temperatures to ensure animal health and performance. This document outlines the benefits and mechanisms of high-pressure and low-pressure cooling systems.

Importance of Cooling
Cooling is crucial for maintaining a stable climate in livestock environments, which is essential for animal health and productivity. Animals like pigs and chickens cannot sweat, making them susceptible to heat stress, which can lead to decreased performance and health issues.

Cooling Methods
  • High-Pressure Cooling: Utilizes water at 70 bar pressure, atomized through stainless steel nozzles. This system is fully automated with the MBWeich 4 Touch control, which can be integrated with ventilation systems. It offers benefits such as dust reduction, improved air quality, and energy efficiency.
  • Low-Pressure Cooling: Involves a simpler setup with PVC lines and nozzles, operating at a minimum of 3.5 bar pressure. Controlled by the MBWeich200 unit, it is designed for easy installation and operation, tailored to specific stable conditions.

System Features
  • Both systems use fine water atomization for effective evaporative cooling, reducing ambient temperatures by up to 10°C.
  • Automated controls with temperature and humidity sensors ensure optimal operation and minimal water usage.
  • High-pressure systems offer additional benefits like air dedusting and humidity optimization, contributing to animal health and reduced medication needs.

Energy Efficiency
Evaporative cooling is highlighted as an energy-efficient method, reducing the need for high ventilation rates and saving energy.

Conclusion
Meier-Brakenberg's cooling systems are designed to enhance animal welfare and productivity through innovative, energy-efficient solutions tailored to individual stable needs.

Perfect stable climate What is the point of cooling? Cooling by up to 10 °C - Maintaining animal performance An optimal temperature range stands for vital, healthy animals with good performance. Dairy cows are even more likely to develop heat stress and react with poor fertility and reduction of milk yield. Pigs and chicken, for example cannot sweat. Fattening pigs are very quickly outside their temperature optimum. The stress factor and behavioral problems increase. Sows are more likely to show a decrease in reproductive performance. Energy saving A well cooled stable saves energy because the...

High-pressure cooling Water at a pressure of 70 bar is atomized very finely into the stable air via high-pressure nozzles on a stainless steel line. The MBWeich 4 Touch control system works fully automatically; if desired, it can either be High pressure cooling nozzles made of stainless steel mounted on a stainless steel tube, no corrosion. operated combined with the ventilation system or each stable area can be controlled separately. Several stables can be operated using one control and one pump. In brief: ● Very fine atomization of water resulting in high cooling capacity. ● Menu-driven, easy...

Low-pressure cooling The basis of low-pressure cooling is a very easy-to-install system of PVC lines and atomizing nozzles. The installation and arrangement of lines and nozzles is geared to individual conditions and air flow in the stable. Depending on the individual design, single, double or quadruple nozzles are used. Water pressure of at least 3.5 bar is sufficient for operation. The low-pressure cooling unit is controlled by the easy-to-operate menu-guided cooling control MBWeich200 which is equipped with a temperature sensor. Automatic control depending on the specified cooling temperature....
