The Wheatheart Screw Augers by Mepu are designed for reliable and efficient grain transfer, suitable for professional use in both silo filling and emptying. These augers are known for their sturdy and simple structure, making them ideal for long-term continuous use.
The Wheatheart UT screw augers are available in 8” and 10” sizes, with lengths ranging from 5 to 18.5 meters in 1.5-meter increments. The standard equipment includes a motorized base, necessary extensions, a feed adjuster, a feed end bearing set, and a support band for fastening lines.
The capacity of the augers is influenced by the angle of operation and the type of grain. Tested with dry wheat at a 15° angle, the capacities are:
- 6” UT: up to 43 t/h
- 8” UT: up to 81 t/h
- 10” UT: up to 114 t/h
- 8” WHR: up to 81 t/h
- 10” WHR: up to 130 t/h
The WHR models are mobile, equipped with large wheels and a sturdy support structure, suitable for on-floor storage and silo operations. They are available in 8”, 10”, and 13” sizes, with lengths from 9.4 to 21.6 meters. These augers can be powered by an electric motor or a tractor.
Standard equipment for WHR includes wheels, tires, and a suction end cage. Optional accessories include different hoppers, pipe connections, and flexible discharge pipes.
