Multitek MODEL 1616 EZ FIREWOOD PROCESSOR Outstanding Features The Multitek 1616 EZ Firewood Processor has many features that are well suited for the growing firewood producer. This machine features a rugged built 3-strand hydraulic folding log deck for processing logs up to 20 ft (6.1m) in length and up to 18” (45 cm) in diameter. The 1616 EZ firewood processor is built on the same robust mainframe assembly as on the larger 1620 SS Model. This workhorse is professionally designed to ensure maximum uptime and maximum productivity for your firewood business. The 1616 EZ is available with the highly portable 15’ (4.57m) integral conveyor system or you can upgrade to a larger 20’ (6.01m) or 30’ (9.14m) stacking conveyors. Ergonomic operator safety station with 4-way Joysticks Economics and Engine Options Increase production and reduce labor cost with the 1616 EZ. This machine is available with several different engine options to match your production needs and personal preferences. Diesel engine options include a 35 hp Yanmar or Kubota diesel, while gasoline options include a 34 hp Kohler gasoline engine, or a 28 hp Subaru or Honda engines. The 1616 EZ is designed to produce between 1.5 and 2.5 full cords of firewood per hour, with this in mind the machine consumes approximately 1.2 gallons of Diesel (4.5L) or 1.35 gallons (5.11L) of gasoline per hour. The 1616 EZ fuelwood processor features a 20” saw bar with a 3/8 pitch sawchain that under normal conditions requires sharpening approximately every 8 hours of use. Operations of this machine is simple using the two 4-way joysticks that allow the operator complete control of production. The operator can adjust length of firewood block and size of firewood block with simple adjustments using the 4-way joysticks. This firewood processor is a very safe operator friendly machine with ample safety measures in place. For our European customers, we also offer the machine with a CE Mark kit that has additional measures of safety including safety shut-off’s on both sides of the machine and additional CE required decals.
