During this process, the mineral multiplies because of the evaporated water. After the exfoliation, the particles have a harmonic shape and contain many air bubbles resulting in a lightweight structure. These exfoliated grain is insulating, absorbing, ecological and incombustible. the color of the exfoliated vermiculite can vary according to the origin of the raw material.
