AD-LIBITUM Unrestricted Milker for lambs and goats The Orvalex Ad Libitum is a Milker which continuously produces reconstituted milk (water + powder milk). Thanks to the preparation bowl on its front side, it produces half-litre quantities and feeds two ramps of three teats minimum (delivered with unit). Powder concentration is adjusted from the control panel, which includes the controls of the various elements: stirrer, screw, water (for cleaning) and start/stop. It is easy and quick to clean thanks to a lever/counterweight system which instantaneously releases all the bowl elements and makes the bowl readily accessible. A simplified front panel allows you to access the main controls. The Orvalex Ad Libitum is available for lambs, goats and calves. A version with an animal identification system also exists for calves. Benefiting from more than 30 years experience in the nursing of young animals, the Ad Libitum is characterized by a 30 kilogram powder hopper equipped with an endless screw and oscillating anti-bridging extraction system to pass all types of powder. The Ad Libitum also features a water heater with an unusually high capacity. In fact, thanks to its 25 litre capacity, it has a greater inertia and therefore requires less heating power. Water calibration is determined by a probe and powder calibration by a timer. The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat on the front panel.
